Debbie Harry launches 'Face It' book tour in NYC

After an appearance at New York City's Town Hall on Monday night, Blondie lead singer Debbie Harry launched her "Face It" book tour yesterday at Barnes & Noble Union Square, signing her autobiography to a packed house of gleeful fans attending the sold-out, ticketed event.

While attendees frequently used the words "bad ass" and "idol" when meeting Harry, the singer-songwriter took the idolization in stride, completely comfortable with the rock icon status she has justly earned over her 40-year career.

of "Face It," she'll continue her book tour through October with stops including San Francisco, Los Angeles and London, and a book signing in Miami on November 20.
